Terms of Service

Effective date: October 23, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the web-based document viewing and conversion tools provided by InstantDocView (the "Service"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Service and its users.

2. Definitions

  1. "Service" means the document viewers, editor, converters, calculators, masking tool and guides provided at https://instantdocview.com and its pages.
  2. "User" means anyone who uses the Service under these terms.
  3. "Document" means any file or text a user opens or enters in the Service.

3. Effect and changes

  1. These terms take effect when posted on the Service.
  2. The Service may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes will be announced on the website together with their effective date and reason.
  3. Users who do not agree with the changed terms may stop using the Service.

4. The Service

  1. The Service is provided free of charge and without registration.
  2. Documents are processed inside the user's browser. The Service does not send documents to or store them on any server.
  3. The Service may change or discontinue all or part of its features for operational or technical reasons.

5. Advertising

  1. The Service may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) and affiliate links.
  2. If a user buys a product through an affiliate link, the Service may receive a commission from the affiliate.
  3. The Service is not responsible for transactions between users and advertisers or affiliates.

6. User obligations

Users must not:

  1. Process or distribute documents in a way that infringes the copyright, privacy or other rights of others
  2. Interfere with the normal operation of the Service (excessive automated requests, tampering with code and similar)
  3. Use the Service to break the law

7. Copyright

  1. The guides, design and logo created by the Service belong to the Service.
  2. Open-source software used in the Service belongs to its respective authors and is used under its license.
  3. Rights in documents processed by users remain with the users or the original authors. The Service acquires no rights in them.

8. Disclaimer

  1. The Service is a free tool and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of rendering, editing, conversion, extraction, counting or masking results. Please compare the results with the original document before relying on them.
  2. The privacy masking tool works on fixed patterns and may not detect all personal information. The user is responsible for the final check.
  3. The Service is not liable for damage caused by natural disasters, browser or device conditions, or the user's own fault.
  4. Unless caused by intent or gross negligence, the Service is not liable for damage arising from the use of information obtained through the Service.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service shall be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea. If the English and Korean versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
